About
From a young age I knew that engineering was something that I was passionate about. I always enjoyed building things and thinking of new, innovative solutions to problems. As I kept asking questions and thinking of greater problems to solve, I came across space exploration. I became captivated by the seemingly impossible accomplishments of men and women before me and I realized that aerospace engineering was going to be my path forward.
As an aerospace engineering student at the University of Maryland, I pride myself on being considerate, hardworking, and well rounded. I enjoy engaging my artistic and athletic sides in addition to many extracurricular activities related to aerospace engineering. I have joined the UMD hyperloop team, interned at the Space Systems Laboratory, entered NASA competitions, and conducted research all to develop skills and knowledge that will prepare myself to work in this industry.
I am confident that this is what I want to do with my life and determined to realize my full potential. In the end, I want to know that I worked as hard as I could to help advance human space exploration, make discoveries, and solve the most challenging problems in order to leave a lasting positive impact on the world.
